Short answer To find your Bank AL Habib IBAN, use the bank’s official IBAN Generator ↗. For Pakistan, it asks for your existing 17-digit Bank AL Habib account number. Copy the IBAN returned for your own account; do not build it by adding a bank code to the account number.
At a glance
- Official route: Bank AL Habib IBAN Generator (Bank AL Habib ↗ · checked 2026-10-10)
- Pakistan input: current 17-digit account number (Bank AL Habib ↗ · checked 2026-10-10)
- Use: the bank requests the complete IBAN on domestic and international financial transactions (Bank AL Habib ↗ · checked 2026-10-10)
The bank’s generator identifies the account from the number you supply. Its disclaimer says an incorrect input can cause errors, delays or loss, so start with the account number in your own bank records. A debit-card number, telephone number or another person’s IBAN is not a substitute.
The ptvold IBAN checker checks format and checksum. It does not generate your IBAN, check your account balance, establish that an account is active or confirm who owns it. A result that passes a format check still needs the correct recipient name and bank-issued account details.
| Detail | What it identifies | Where to obtain it |

SBP’s May 15, 2012 circular introduced the IBAN standard in Pakistan to standardise account identification for domestic and cross-border payments. That is the implementation date, not a new bank product launch.
For a payment from abroad, an IBAN alone may not fill every field on the sender’s form. The Bank AL Habib SWIFT-code reference explains the bank identifier and the separate Roshan Digital Account route. Use the instructions that match your account and transfer, rather than combining details from different routes.
What the sender needs
- Recipient: the account title recorded by Bank AL Habib
- Account identifier: the complete IBAN obtained for that account
- Bank and route details: the information requested by the sending institution, confirmed for your receiving account
Check that you are entering a Pakistan account number and that you have copied every digit correctly. Do not remove digits, add zeroes or use an unofficial converter to make the input pass. The generator’s input rule does not explain how to manually transform an account number into an IBAN.
Use the bank’s own support route or branch to resolve a rejected number. Keep the account record available for that conversation, but disclose it only through the official channel you have chosen.
Warning Your banking password, PIN and one-time password are not receiving details. Keep them private. This page does not require you to submit an account number or other personal information to ptvold.
