Easypaisa account limits: balance, monthly debit and upgrades

Short answer Easypaisa says its Asaan Digital Account can have a maximum credit balance of PKR 1,000,000 and total debits of up to PKR 1,000,000 per month. Your app may show lower daily, monthly or per-transaction limits according to the account level, verification status and transaction type. Check My Account → Account Level before relying on a limit, and review the confirmation screen before sending.

A wallet limit, a monthly debit limit and a single-transfer limit are not the same thing. This guide separates them and shows where Easypaisa tells users to check their own profile.

The two published Asaan Digital figures

Easypaisa’s Asaan Digital Account page publishes:

Limit Published amount
Maximum credit balance PKR 1,000,000
Total debit per month PKR 1,000,000

Source: Easypaisa Asaan Digital Account ↗ · checked 27 October 2026.

The maximum credit balance is how much the account may hold. The monthly debit figure is the total amount that may leave during the month. Neither figure proves that one transfer of PKR 1,000,000 will be accepted.

A specific transaction can have a lower cap because of the receiving institution, the payment rail, a risk check, an agent or ATM channel, or the account level shown in the app.

Why your displayed limit can be lower

Easypaisa accounts have verification levels. The bank’s FAQ says daily and monthly limits depend on account level and can be changed through verification. The app is therefore the best place to see the limits applied to your account at that moment.

To find the published upgrade route:

  1. open the Easypaisa app;
  2. go to My Account;
  3. choose Account Level;
  4. select Upgrade Your Account;
  5. complete the requested personal and additional information;
  6. accept the terms; and
  7. complete the selfie or biometric step requested by the app.

Easypaisa describes the Asaan Digital upgrade as providing transaction limits of up to PKR 1,000,000. “Up to” matters: it is a ceiling, not a promise that every user or every channel receives the full amount immediately.

For opening and verification steps, see How to make an Easypaisa account.

Balance, incoming and outgoing limits

Three numbers often get confused:

Maximum balance

This is the most money the account can hold. A credit that would take the wallet above the cap may be declined or require a different account.

Incoming limit

This controls how much can enter during the relevant period. The incoming amount can include transfers or cash-in depending on the channel rules.

Outgoing or debit limit

This controls money leaving through transfers, payments or withdrawals. Easypaisa’s Asaan Digital page calls its PKR 1,000,000 figure Total Debit per Month.

A monthly debit counter usually accumulates across qualifying transactions. It is not reset after each transfer. Do not divide the monthly amount into assumed daily limits unless the app or current terms show those daily numbers.

Per-transaction limits still apply

A transfer can fail even when the monthly counter has room. Possible reasons include:

  • a lower per-transaction cap;
  • the recipient’s account limit;
  • an IBFT, Raast, card, ATM or agent-channel limit;
  • incomplete verification;
  • a temporary security review; or
  • a balance that does not cover both the amount and the applicable charge.

Review the amount and fee shown before confirming. For current charges, see Easypaisa charges. For the difference between payment rails, read Raast and IBFT.

Limits do not describe fees

A limit tells you how much the account or channel permits. A fee tells you what the transaction costs. Raising the account level does not make every transfer free.

Easypaisa’s branchless-banking schedule of charges separates wallet transfers, bank transfers, cash deposits, ATM withdrawals and agent withdrawals. The schedule also says transaction limits are enforced where applicable.

Before receiving a large payment

Check four things before another person sends money:

  1. the current wallet balance;
  2. the remaining incoming allowance shown for the profile;
  3. the maximum credit balance for the account type; and
  4. whether the sender’s route has a separate limit.

Do not give a sender your PIN or OTP. A legitimate sender needs only the receiving details required by the chosen route. If the wallet cannot receive the amount, do not split transactions to evade a published limit; use an account type and channel designed for the payment.

For international routes, read Easypaisa international remittance. An outward cross-border transfer is not the same as receiving an approved inward remittance.

If the app says the limit is reached

First identify which counter is full. The message may refer to:

  • the wallet balance;
  • daily outgoing transactions;
  • monthly outgoing transactions;
  • incoming funds; or
  • one transaction or channel.

Open Account Level and the transaction detail screen. If the limit still does not make sense, use Easypaisa’s official support route and include the exact error wording, date, amount and channel. Do not post your CNIC, mobile number or transaction reference publicly.

See Easypaisa complaints for the support and escalation route.

A safe way to read the numbers

Use the app’s own limit display for the operational answer. Use the public product page to understand the account ceiling. Use the current schedule of charges for fees. These three sources answer different questions and should not be substituted for one another.

Questions

What is the Easypaisa Asaan Digital maximum balance?

Easypaisa publishes a PKR 1,000,000 maximum credit balance.

What is the Easypaisa monthly debit limit?

The Asaan Digital Account page publishes total debits of up to PKR 1,000,000 per month. A lower account-level or transaction limit may still apply.

Can I send PKR 1,000,000 in one transfer?

Do not assume that. The monthly ceiling is not the same as a single-transfer limit. Check the amount allowed for the account, recipient and channel in the app.

How do I raise my Easypaisa limits?

Open My Account, choose Account Level and follow the Upgrade Your Account steps. The app will show the verification information it needs.

Does a higher limit remove transfer fees?

No. Limits and charges are separate. Review the current schedule and the confirmation screen.
