JazzCash IBAN: how to get yours

Short answer JazzCash’s website does not say whether a JazzCash mobile account has its own IBAN (International Bank Account Number), or where to find one. The only IBAN JazzCash publishes, PK29JAZZ0000000000000001, is a fixed code for linking Payoneer inside the JazzCash app; JazzCash says it “is not linked to your mobile account number”. Do not give it to anyone as your IBAN. Your JazzCash account number is your mobile number. For an IBAN, ask JazzCash on 4444 from a Jazz SIM or 111-124-444 from any network.

What JazzCash publishes about IBANs

JazzCash is run by Mobilink Microfinance Bank Limited (MMBL). We read JazzCash’s account, money transfer, international remittance, terms and charges pages, and MMBL’s schedule of charges. None of them says that a JazzCash mobile account has its own IBAN, where to see it in the app, or which 4-letter bank code it would carry.

What the pages do say:

  • Your account number is your mobile number. MMBL’s terms: “Each Account shall possess a distinctive Account number (Mobile number)”.
  • The Payoneer IBAN is not yours. In its Payoneer FAQ, JazzCash says: “The system automatically populates the IBAN “PK29JAZZ0000000000000001”. You should verify it during registration. This IBAN is not linked to your mobile account number.” It calls it “a mutually agreed code between JazzCash and Payoneer that ensures your JazzCash mobile account is correctly linked with your Payoneer account.”

Some blogs give menu paths for an IBAN in the JazzCash app, sample IBANs with a bank code, or short codes. JazzCash has not published any of them, so we don’t repeat them. If you need an IBAN for your JazzCash account, ask JazzCash directly: 4444 from a Jazz number, 111-124-444 from any network, or WhatsApp 0325-4444786.

The Payoneer IBAN

JazzCash says freelancers “must register for a Payoneer account only through the JazzCash application”, and the app fills in PK29JAZZ0000000000000001 during that registration. The string is 24 characters and passes the standard IBAN check, so an IBAN checker will call it valid. It still identifies no one’s wallet. Use it only inside the JazzCash app’s Payoneer registration, as JazzCash describes.

JazzCash says the minimum withdrawal from Payoneer is US$5, that “Payoneer charges a standard 3% fee on withdrawals”, and that “There are no charges for transferring funds into JazzCash.”

What an IBAN looks like

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) adopted the international IBAN standard (ISO 13616) in 2012. Citibank Pakistan’s IBAN FAQ describes every Pakistani IBAN this way:

Citibank’s FAQ also says only banks may generate an IBAN: “No other party is allowed to generate IBAN.” Don’t build one yourself from a code found online.

Check an IBAN before you share it

Paste any IBAN you are given into our IBAN checker. It checks the format and check digits only. It cannot tell you whose account an IBAN belongs to.

Receiving money into JazzCash

From abroad. JazzCash says: “Visit an exchange house or use a partner app, select Pakistan, choose JazzCash, and funds will be transferred to your wallet.” It says remittances are “typically credited instantly”, though some go through anti-money-laundering screening that “can take up to 2 days”. JazzCash does not describe receiving a bank wire by IBAN and SWIFT code, and MMBL publishes no SWIFT code. From a bank in Pakistan. JazzCash says you can “Accept incoming transfers from JazzCash users, banks, or international remittance partners directly into your wallet”. MMBL’s schedule for July 1 to September 30, 2026 lists “IBFT into M-Wallet 0”: no fee to receive an IBFT (Inter Bank Funds Transfer). See IBFT and Raast.

Warning JazzCash says: “JazzCash will never ask for your PIN, OTP, or password. If you receive a suspicious call or message, report it immediately on helpline 4444.” From any other network, report fraud on 111-124-444. Be wary of anyone who offers to “generate” a JazzCash IBAN for you: in Pakistan, only a bank may issue an IBAN.

Does JazzCash have an IBAN?

JazzCash’s website does not say. It publishes only a fixed Payoneer registration code, which it says is not linked to your account. Ask the JazzCash helpline about an IBAN for your own account.

Is PK29JAZZ0000000000000001 my JazzCash IBAN?

No. JazzCash says this IBAN “is not linked to your mobile account number”. It is used only to link Payoneer inside the JazzCash app.

What is JazzCash’s SWIFT code?

Mobilink Microfinance Bank does not publish one. For money from abroad, JazzCash describes exchange houses and partner apps that pay into the wallet.

What is my JazzCash account number?

Your mobile number. Mobilink Microfinance Bank’s terms say each account has “a distinctive Account number (Mobile number)”.
