Allied Bank IBAN: how to get yours

Short answer An Allied Bank IBAN is 24 characters and contains the bank code ABPA after PK and two check digits. Allied Bank’s official IBAN Generator ↗ gives your IBAN from your 16-digit account number, and myABL WhatsApp Banking on 0300-1225225 also offers an IBAN Generator.

How to get your Allied Bank IBAN

Allied Bank publishes two ways.

1. The official IBAN Generator. Go to Allied Bank’s IBAN Generator ↗ and “enter your 16-digit account number to instantly retrieve your IBAN.” The bank asks you to re-check the account number before noting the IBAN, and says it “shall not be responsible for any IBAN generated as a result of erroneous/incorrect information”. The same generator also appears on Allied Bank’s SWIFT code page.

2. myABL WhatsApp Banking. Save 0300-1225225 in your contacts and send “Hi” or “Menu” on WhatsApp. Allied Bank lists “IBAN Generator” under Account Services in the menu. Allied Bank says this service is only available on 0300-1225225, which carries a green verified badge. Some services trigger a one-time registration, where you enter the last four digits of your CNIC (computerised national identity card) and accept the terms.

Allied Bank says a monthly subscription fee plus taxes will apply to myABL WhatsApp Banking from October 19, 2026, under its schedule of charges. It offers a 15-day free-look period after you consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time from the WhatsApp menu.

Allied Bank does not publish steps for finding your IBAN in the myABL app or internet banking for a bank account; the feature lists we checked have no IBAN item. It also does not say on the pages we read whether the IBAN is on your statement. Steps you may see on blogs are not confirmed by the bank, so we don’t repeat them. If you are unsure, call the Allied Contact Center on 042-111-225-225.

If you have a myABL Wallet (Allied Bank’s branchless wallet) rather than a bank account, Allied Bank says your IBAN “is available under account detail page of myABL Wallet App.”

What an Allied Bank IBAN looks like

Allied Bank lists the parts of an IBAN as:

  • Country Code (e.g., PK)
  • Check Digits
  • Bank Code & Branch Code
  • Customer’s Account Number

Its example format is PK36ABPA0000123456789012. This is the bank’s sample, not a real account. When we ran it through the standard IBAN check, it did not pass, so our checker will mark it invalid. Use it only to see the layout: PK, two check digits, ABPA and 16 digits.

Allied Bank does not explain on this page exactly where the branch code sits inside the 16 digits, so we don’t guess. Take your IBAN from the generator or WhatsApp Banking rather than building it yourself.

Using your IBAN to receive money

Allied Bank says remittances can be “directly deposited into an account with Allied Bank or any other bank in Pakistan”, and that receiving a remittance through Allied Bank is free of charge. Warning Allied Bank says it “never asks Customer for personal information (User ID, password, PIN, OTP, Transactional PIN, Mother’s Maiden Name, Card Number, Card Expiry, CVV) through phone calls, weblinks, SMS, emails social media or through any other communication channel”. It adds: “Also, the Bank never calls their customer from 111-225-225.” On WhatsApp, Allied Bank says it will never ask for card numbers, account details, passwords or PINs; only the last four digits of your CNIC are needed to register.
